Welcome to AlignIQ! Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you interact with aligniq.ai and the workshops, courses or other services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).

Heads‑up – Interim policy. We’re providing this plain‑English notice so you know what happens with your data while we finalise a fully lawyer‑reviewed version. Nothing here is, or should be taken as, legal advice.


1 · Who We Are

AlignIQ BV (“AlignIQ,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is the data controller for personal data collected through the Services. We previously operated as AlignIQ LLC in the United States; that entity is being wound down. If you are in the U.S., AlignIQ BV remains your data controller.

4 · Cookies & Tracking

We keep tracking to a minimum and are transparent about it.

Marketing cookies are those set specifically to build profiles and serve personalised ads on other sites (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing). We do not run any of these today. Should we run targeted ads in the future, we will (i) update this Policy, and (ii) ask for explicit consent before setting such cookies.

4.2 Least‑Annoying Banner

Until marketing cookies are introduced, we show a small footer notice:

“We use essential cookies and Google Analytics to improve the site. No advertising cookies. Learn more →”
The banner disappears once dismissed.


5 · Sharing & Disclosure

We share data only when necessary and never sell it.

We do not allow these providers to use your data for their own marketing.


6 · International Transfers

Our primary servers are in the EU. Where data moves outside the EEA/UK (e.g., to the U.S.), we rely on:

  • the provider’s EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification (if available),
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or
  • your explicit consent.

7 · Retention

8 · Your Rights

You can request to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, or object to processing. U.S. residents in certain states may also opt‑out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we don’t sell data).

9 · Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures such as TLS, encryption at rest, least‑privilege access, and MFA. No method is 100 % secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.


10 · Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.


11 · Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be highlighted on our site.
